Book Review of Coulrophobia & Fata Morgana

As stated in the earlier review of Appel's Scouting For the Reaper, I do not usually read short fictional stories, but I had liked that one so much I wanted to read more of his work. I was so glad when I won this in a GoodReads giveaway...but then I was a little apprehensive: would I like this one just as much? Or would I be disappointed?
Luckily, I was NOT disappointed and found Coulrophobia & Fata Morgana to be just as interesting, just as full as surrealism, and ending twists as his previous book (as well as a linking of the stories overall, whether written on purpose that way, or subconsciously).
Even though these are short stories that can be read out of order/anytime, this is not the first I have read a book of Appel's without wanting to put it down before finishing.
