The sequel to "A Garden in Paris." Liz Davis. a strong-willed businesswoman in Omaha, Nebraska finds her world beginning to crumble. She discovers a computer disc revealing that her father, her role model for business, has deceived his business partner. SHe questions who she really is upon finding that she really isn't the daughter of Sam Davis.
Mary, her mother, has fled to Paris and then Tuscany to meet a former love, Liz Davis' real father. Liz and Mary work through their struggles of a strained relationship. Liz's desire of a 'dream' wedding, is also put on-hold as she travels to Europe to connect with her mother and her 'real' father.
