I enjoy some of the books more than others in this series particularly the ones set in recent times. Isabella Valdez is on the run from Julian Garrett who is trying to kidnap (or kill) her because she knows too much. Isabella is in hiding and goes to the Jones & Jones agency in a small town specifically to find Fallon Jones, as per her grandmother's direction. The attraction is instant and Fallon falls hard and fast.
I enjoyed the mystery of who stole the clockworks and what is their ultimate goal. Is this part of the Nightshade conspiracy or something different? There really wasn't much on the Nightshade side of things but it was mentioned. As this is the first in the Looking Glass trilogy, I imagine Nightshade will pop up more in the next installment. Totally likable hero and heroine with real life problems and down-to-earth (though psychic) resolutions.
