Lovely lovely story.
The narrative is told from two perspectives, young Jacob and old Jacob. The author pulls this off marvelously while pulling you into the world of a depression era traveling circus. The b/w photos of old traveling circus' that separate each chapter are fantastic touches that I loved.
Highly recommended.
