Charming vintage style illustrations are sweet and full of intricate but not distracting detail! Many different occupations are represented: laborers like assembly line workers and professionals like "atom splitting mommies." Written in 1955, the inclusive gender roles presented are ahead of their time. While there are newer publications, these illustrations take the prize. My one caveat is that the job of being solely a mommy isn't presented; so this book may be best suited to the retro-vintage book-liking children of a working mommy.
