I so not agree with what some of the other viewers are saying about this book.
I didn't want to put it down. First of all, the Hathaway's are such an interesting family and I couldn't wait to read Poppy's story. I read an excerpt online and was interested in reading this book. I read the reviews on here and wondered if I would be wasting a credit in order to get this book. I took a chance and ordered it.
First of all Poppy is so intelligent, and not at all like the "normal" heroines in some of these stories that do not have any depth at all. Harry is a hero who has never known love from anyone.. not even his parents. He believes that the only way to be with Poppy is to "have her at any cost."
The interactions between the two are sweet and endearing. For someone who has never known love, Harry trusts more than most of the Hero's in novels. He is endearing and human and has flaws but trusts Poppy more than I would were I in his situation.
So for me, if you have liked the Hathaway's books prior to this one, you will like this one.
