Upfield wrote almost 30 "Bony" mysteries, and I've enjoyed them all. One nice thing about them is you don't have to read them in any order. I thought this one was one of his best. Almost all of them take place in small towns across Australia, usually in the Outback. I still have some to read, so I don't know if any take place in Australia's cities.
