I have read all the Lucas Davenport & Virgil Flowers books (Yes, ALL of them), & I find them stimulating and entertaining. But for some odd reason - and I know it's just me - I didn't like this book at all. I guess the current political climate has burned me to the core. I did enjoy the very end of the book, but all the political shenanigans & machinations just left a very bad taste in my mouth.
