Summary:
Dante is the Beta wolf in the Phoenix pack. He's a workaholic who doesn't want to get tied down. He's been in love once before and now is a commitmentphobe. Jaime has had a crush on Dante for pretty much ever. She overhears him talking not so great things about her and decides it's over. She's going to focus on other men or wolves or both. Dante, of course, decides that now if the time to check out Jaime. He misses her attention when she isn't giving it all to him. Of course the relationship is not automatically perfect. The banter between them is hilarious. Then of course there are other things that get in the way, like ex's, secrets, and clothing (hehe), but love's just got to find a way through.

My thoughts:
There is a lot of sex in this novel. Honestly, it was a little more than I expected. I don't feel like there was quite as much sex in the first book. The sex is very creative and a bit different each time. The scenes are not boring and I didn't skip over them to get back to the plot, but my goodness, hot and steamy! Dante is the cutest thing ever. He is all rough and tough but softens around the edges as the relationship begins. It's adorable to see him try to do things and then they never come out quite right. The fact that he tries so hard to show Jaime he cares for her is melt-worthy. Jaime is not a complete submissive, she barks and bites just like a sassy heroine should; however, she also placates Dante now and then. I've read people that didn't like those parts, but I think they are a bit more realistic. Sometimes we have to just pet our male's ego.
