Another goofy Koontz books, the man is a great writer of suspense, he is terrible at comedy. If he tries to write something humorous, it only comes across as goofy. Example: Man: They say I am without grace. Girl: Who? Man: Who? Girl: They. Man: Who, they?
This book is about a grandfather that dies at the exact moment the grandson is born, but before he dies he predicts some very specific information about the birth, an then goes on to predict there will be 5 terrible days in the boy's life. All of the days center around a deranged clown and his feud with the circus's aerialists. Pass on this one.
