What a huge disappointment and I like Emily Giffin's books. I was so excited when I got the book that I started it immediately and could not for the life of me figure out why am I getting bored by it? Into Chapter 5, I started feeling frustrated. This story has no focus and all it talks about is football and this crush she has on the Coach who is her best friend's dad she grew up with. Eww, I was getting weirded out every time that came up. Well, it just gets worse. I wish this story could be re written. As much as Giffin likes to be a writer in touch with relationship issues, I could forgive past books focusing on the famous adultery theme. I don't even know how to define the theme to this one. It was a bit off putting, inappropriate, and just plain disappointing. Please go back to writing stories that women can relate to!!
