Dr. Deborah Lipstadt, in her book Denying the Holocaust, described author Davis Irving as a Holocaust denier who deliberately distorted the historical record and was sympathetic with Hitler. He sued her in England for defamation, demanding that her book be removed from circulation. Instead of settling, she fought for the truth for five years in British courtrooms and prevailed. This is her personal record of that legal battle proving Irving to be a liar, racist and a fraud as a historian.
