At the end of this story, I wondered, Is that all there is? I did not find this to be a satisfying story; I scan-read through much of this book. Generally, I found most of the characters to be uninteresting; some were downright hateful (even if they were dead).
One of the problems I had with this story centers around Lara and Carsons ages. At the time Lara fell in love with Carson, she was 18 and he was 27. As a parent, if my daughter came home with a 27 year-old man, Id be horrified. At that pivotal time in their lives, there were just too many years between them. Now, 4 years later, that age difference is not so significant.
Anyway, I thought the story was boring and I just didnt care about the characters.
