Picked this up because Ilona Andrews was compared to Carrie Vaughn and Patricia Briggs and I like both of them a lot. Found this one much more predictable with a more traditional "romance" (as predicted by the hot Fabio guy on the cover, for which I was given attitude at work) than either of their works. Aside from that, the world setup was interesting, there was some good writing snuck in, and I had fun getting to the not really surprising ending. Good beach read.
