Lora, a firefighter, calls in the SSD when she suspects they have a serial arsonist. She also lost her firefighter boyfriend in one of the arsonist's blazes. It's become personal for her. Kenton, is one of the agents assigned to the case.
I did like the beginning, Lora saves Kenton. Lora is pretty kick ass and holds her own with Kenton (who is also a pretty big alpha). I liked the pacing and while this is pretty insta-love, I did like the epilogue that showed the relationship was taking a big stride forward. The couple from the other book (Monica and Luke) also make a big stride in their relationship (it's a blink and miss it, but this isn't their book).
This book is a pretty good example of good romantic suspense. The romance is front and center with the suspense taking a backseat, but it's not way in the back (make sense?). The suspense is still a good part of the story.
