I have read almost every book that Maeve Binchy wrote and this was another well-crafted story about a girl who feels a bit out of place within her own family. Star worries so much about others, that she doesn't really see how that worry doesn't really help any person, including herself. I liked when Star realized that her worrying didn't really help and how she learned to start to focus on her own needs instead of worrying all the time. This is a novella and it was so engaging, that I finished it in just a few hours.
