I am sick and tired of so many reviews comparing most thrillers to Gone Girl and Girl on a Train, (which I didn't even care about)!
This is a good legal mystery, definitely not a thriller, but I enjoyed it. I usually read a book within a day or two, but for some reason, this one took much longer. I kept waiting for more intrigue but that didn't happen until the end which wasn't what I predicted and really did surprise me.
