I really enjoyed this mystery, which finds our protagonist Meg Reed training for a 5K Mud Race in order to write a story about the race and training for her Magazine, Northwest Extreme. Yes, it was light on the mystery, but I really enjoyed my time virtually drinking craft beers and lattes with Meg and her buddies in Portland. The author did a great job of making Portland seem real.
