This read is not one of my favorites. I read this one after reading "A Bend in the Road'. I was soooooo engrossed by "Bend" that I thought I'd delve into "First". It was a quick read, but no much depth like "Bend". After reading the additional reviews I now realize that "First" is a sequel to one of Nicholas' other books. Maybe I should've read that one first.
I've enjoyed 'A Message in the Bottle', and will begin "The Notebook" soon. I'll update you soon after.
