This is what "Alien" should have been like. An ancient alien lifeform recovered. It takes over humans and reconstructs them into near-ultimate warriors. A planet taken over. Brutal, violent and gory.
I read this back in junior high, and LOVED it! I just reread it and STILL LOVED it, even 18 years later :-)
