This is a collection of short stories, but my review pretains to I Am Legend only, which takes up about 170 pages of the book. This comes from the standpoint of someone who has not seen the movie.
Personally, I enjoyed I Am Legend, but I felt it could have been much longer than it was. It delved deeply into the details of the vampires, which I found very interesting, but this was the main focal point of the story. It focused on the main character trying to find out about the plague and less on his survival and the events therein. It was a good story and somewhat symbolic, one I may read again, but it ended much more quickly than it could have and the plot could have been thicker. However, if you have an appreciation for short stories, then this is a good book for you.
