This was an excellent book filled with Biblical truths and examples of why we must remove ourselves from ourselves and be able to have the willingness to seriously follow Jesus instead of being one who believes without making sacrifices of self. At first this book gave me a weird taste of the author being a bit prideful, but he ended up humbling himself and made the book far more interesting as I continued to read it. There were a few reminders which I had already felt past convictions over, causing me to transform much of my own life, and things I read that really stabbed me to where I need even further growth and conviction. I am truly thankful to read this. The youth group at church I'm involved with is doing lessons with the videos to go with the book come this weekend, so this has helped me prepare and I look forward to seeing the response of the students! Definitely a must read book for anyone who claims Christianity.
