This book on Ancient Egypt would be an excellent choice for homeschooling parents. This volume has oodles of photos and maps that assist in explaining the text. In addition, this book carries readers through the thirty dynasties, influential leaders, and important constructions.

Everything is included in this book for students. The artwork is impressive and will keep students' attention. In addition, some quizzes and activities reinforce learning and check comprehension.

After covering the dynasties, pyramids, rulers, etc., the book turns to the culture of Egypt. Kids will love learning about mummification, how people lived, and their gods.

After finishing this book, I plan to turn it over to our community library. Homeschooling meetings and activities occur there, and the librarian can share this book with the teachers. This is such a unique publication that I want to share it as widely as possible. I have found that homeschooling teachers always look for engaging materials.
