This book is like the SF I used to read in the '50's and '60's only somewhat updated.
In an effort to save the earth from a killer asteroid, three shuttle crew members become trapped in the asteroid/starship and transported to a strange planet.
Predictably, they endure danger and adventure until they save the advanced race on the planet who have undone their existence through technology.
Happy ending all around when the astronauts save the day.
If you are an old-time SF fan, this book is for you!
