A very different kind of novel! Written in the first person by a main character with autism, Mark Haddon certainly shows his talent as a writer. However, I personally found the book to be a somewhat difficult read. It's a fast read...without a doubt, but it is so different...actually eccentric might be a good way of describing it. It's definitely worth reading just to see what you think of it. I can't say it was one of my favorite books, but I am glad that I read it.
