Incredible! While this book can be listed as a romance it's a wonderful read about music, human emotions due to music and one another as well as life in the city of Venice during this period in time. I loved this novel. As I read it, I wondered who was truly the violinist of Venice. Vivaldi or Adriana? Yes, Adriana is mystcal but the author found evidence that she or someone very liker her may have existed. Her research of Vivaldi's life indicates that such a tale could be true.

It's hard to write about the emotions evoked by a story that moves one so much as this one did me. Whether a reader is a music lover or an appreciater this read may stimulate a greater appreciation of classical music, its intricacy and its beauty.

The author is so talented that I truly hop0e that she continues to write such stirring novels. Her wish at its close is that any who read this novel discovers and enjoys the music of Vivaldi She is quite obviously a true lover of wonderful music and Vivaldi must be one of her favorite composers! With these thoughts in mind if you even just enjoy music I recommend this tale most enthusiastically.
