I found this a tedious story to trudge through, the main character Elsie, the daughter, is telling the story and it is slow slow slow and got to the point that I just didn't care anymore, Elsie is a whiny, sad, complainer that has had a very unhappy life, so the story goes

Just not what I'd call a page turner and not my type of reading, slow slow slow
