These fascinating ghost stories are actual interviews of real people about their ghost experiences and include photographs of the person, items or areas that pertain to the story. The stories are divided into chapters by locations in the California Gold Rush country and include: Amador City, Angels Camp, Sonora, Chinese Camp, Murphys, Oroville, Grass Valley, Mariposa, Coulterville, Columbia, Redding, Sutter Creek, Jamestown, Groveland, Sacramento, Old Sacramento, Placerville, Tuolumne, and Yosemite National Park. Very interesting and thought provoking book. Would be fun to read and then travel through the area. If you enjoy this book, the author has also written "Ghost Stories of Arizona" and "Ghost Stories of New Mexico".
