Battle of Britain, fiction. Quite an unusual book. For example, in the chapter entitled 'Ack-Ack' Mrs. Lilley's conversation with George VI is quoted (pp 76-77). She and her crew had shot down a German plane and were being commended.
I have not seen anywhere else Mechanics Instructions for the Spitfire Mk1a (pp. 86-87).
The rationing posters are well-explained.
