When I picked this book up from my used book store I did not realize it was book 2 featuring the main character. Just a note, you don't have to red book 1 to enjoy this book. Book 1 exploits are barely mentioned in passing in this book. This book took a few unforeseen twists that I was never expecting, keeps you guessing about who the "bad guys" are. And the ending, while somewhat implausible was nevertheless a satisfying end to the storyline. I'm looking forward to now reading numbers 1 and 3 in this series.
