For a short romantic suspense, this had a good pace and decent depth of character. Its 288 pages, so it has to be pretty straight forward, and it was. I thought the review and cover made it seem like it was just the two of them holed up somewhere, but they were never really alone long. They went from one group to another throughout the story, so if you are looking for one of those "stranded alone at the edge of civilization" stories, this isn't it.
