I love historical fiction and was hoping for this to be somewhat like The Other Boleyn Girl or The Girl with the Pearl Earring, both great books. Those were well written and researched, this was a predictable, poorly written romp. The main character is immature and dumb. I read 2/3 of the book and just can't waste another minute on it.
