I love this author! Her stories are so sweet, but realistic, funny, happy & sad. And not full of a lot of sex (although I do like hot, sizzling stories, it's refreshing to read some that are not full of that, but still tell a good story that warms your heart). I actually read "Somebody to Love" before this one and loved that as well. The Next Best Thing should be read first as Somebody to Love is a sequel of sorts. I wish more of her books followed some of these same characters. I don't want the stories to end. 5 stars!
