Kit Kittredge is 9 years old in the Great Depression in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1934.Her dad loses his job and her mom ends up taking in boarders to make end meet.Kit and her brother lose their bedrooms which are being rented out to boarders. KIt wants to help her family make money to make ends meet but what can a 9 year old girl do during the Great Depression to make money. Beautiful copy!
