Was so excited to start this series...I love it when I can get all of them at once. Started to read "Bound by Shadow" and.....could only get passed the first few chapters. A big disappointment for me because I so wanted to like these books.

The Female lead is suppose to be a strong character and she falls flat. Her first encounter with the Male lead made me roll my eyes and laugh. I mean, she grabs him by the "junk" to control him and then blushes?? Really?? Not in the least bit "sexy".

It just didn't click with me...
