I've read many Jane Feather books and, in general, I have enjoyed them; this one, however, was somewhat disappointing. It may be because it takes place in 1906, which is is a few decades later than the periods I enjoy the most ... who knows? You may really like it. It is the first in a trilogy about the Duncan Sisters ... I may or may not read the rest of the series.
