Book Review of Nap Time: The True Story of Sexual Abuse at a Suburban Day Care Center

Nap Time: The True Story of Sexual Abuse at a Suburban Day Care Center
reviewed on

I choose to read this book because I'm a mother myself & like most parent's out there, I want to protect my children. When I seen that this book was about sexual abuse in a daycare/ preschool, a place where parent's send their kids thinking they will be safe I needed to read it. It's a woman that victimizes the children. The book is well written, but the crime is so tragic that it was very hard for me to read. In fact I still haven't finished this book & I've been reading it for atleast a month! It's very detailed & alot to take in for me as a grown woman, I just have to keep putting it down & wondering how these kids ever managed. No one should ever have to endure the pain & anguish of abuse like this (or any). ****I don't normally have a hard time reading True Crime books -- This one is different though.****
