Los Angeles TV journalist Alison Reynolds is "let go" after executives announce that a younger face is needed on the set. The realization that her husband is cheating on her and the suspicious death of a childhood friend summon Alison back home to Sedona, Arizona. After establishing an on-line blog as therapy for herself and others in similar situations, Alison is threatened by an irate wife abuser. She also continues to investigate her friend's apparent suicide but is instead hunted herself.
