This is a new author for me and I happened to have jumped into the middle book of the series (see below). I like the writer's style; she used trite or often-used plot devices in new ways. For example, I hate amnesia used in a story but the author used it in a way that was both believable and not intrusive to the main story.

There was snappy dialogue and the author did a great job of showing the emerging feelings between the hero and heroine. The emphasis was on how an impossible situation was resolved. What happens to Nora is an example of an author who is unafraid of bending the rules to create tension and do different things in a story.
