Like everyone else I'm a fan of V.C. Andrews and when I found out they were going to add onto in of my favorite books I was excited because I was always fascinated by the Flowers series. Then I started hearing all the bad comments and negativity surrounding the book. But when I started reading it I was drawn in. Yes there are some inconsistency with what was originally wrote but that's to be expected. I just finished this and I can't wait to start the next one to see where they go with the story. It's interesting that Kristin's story is following along with Christopher's and I think that's why I'm enjoying it so much it's not just a remake of the original from a different point of view it's a story within a story.
