This book continues the story of young witch Tiffany Aching, this time battling a primal force that can take control of a person.

While this book does contain Pratchett's trademark wit, the best part of the first Tiffany Aching book, the Nac Mac Feegle, play a much smaller part in the book so some of the fun is missing. Still, worth a read and a fun family book.
