Leonora Hutton was a former friend of Meredith Spooner, who ended up a serial seductress and con woman. When she is killed, and her final scam ends up involving Leonora, she finds not only more than a million dollars in an offshore account, but a book about Mirror House, and a set of newspaper stories about a long-unsolved murder. In order to save her good name, and possibly her life, Leonora must go to Mirror House and try to solve both the murder of her old friend and one that occured 30 years ago
