I tried SO hard to like this book...it had such great potential--an exciting synopsis on the back cover promising sexy life-mate paranormal romance.

Sadly, after 150 pages I have to admit--it is simply BORING. Y-A-W-N.

Her heroes are "alpha," but lack that sexy protectiveness that makes us love alpha-males. Her heroines are smart women, but lack any kind of soul, leaving me unable to care about them.

If a better author had taken this subject, and explored the characters in greater depth, it could've been an awesome series. Unfortunately, I'm coming to the conclusion that Lisa Renee Jones is NOT a great author, and reading her Zodius series is nothing but a waste of time.
