I really loved most of this book. The characters are definitely the best part. The story starts off with quite a punch. You don't really get that sort of punch throughout the rest of the book though. It then becomes more of a literary drama. Which is fine but I was expecting a bit more.
The book starts off with surrounding two kids who are best friends. A tragedy happens and then their whole lives are changed. It makes you see how much trauma can effect people. Even the ones that are not directly involved. Definitely a heart-warming yet sad tale.
