Mavis is due to give birth very soon when her birth coaches, Eve and Roark, become involved in a double murder. Then a very-pregnant friend of Mavis' goes inexplicibly missing and Mavis enlists Eve and Roark to find Tandy before she gives birth. Two cases, two murders (and more), two near-term pregnant women...what a book! Quite a rush!
