A cd in mp3 format is able to contain MUCH more than 85 minutes of audio (can hold 10 hours or more of high quality recordings). However, although MOST cd players are compatible with this format, not all of them are. If you download the correct audio codec, this can be heard on any computer that plays back sounds. BTW, if you wish, save a copy of this to your computer with a basic cd rip program and then re-record it in audio format in order to be able to play it on cd players that are NOT compatible with cd mp3 format, but it will require about 1 cd for every 80 minutes of recorded time.

Unfortunately, my issue is NOT with this cd's format, but rather with the ability of the individuals who record this. While the sound quality and the voice quality of this production are excellent:
- there are seemingly ENDLESS words mispronounced. While this is a serious distraction to those who know the scriptures, it is a profound problem for those who do NOT know them when a mispronunciation actually changes the meaning of the verse being recorded. This happens again and again.
- whoever edited this apparently had never read the new testament before. The book of Matthew is simply painful to listen to, it is so poorly pronounced.
I am now listening to the book of Romans, having listen to each of the books in consecutive order. One of the readers apparently has some prior exposure to the new testament. He has FAR fewer errors than the other two readers (so far as I have gone).
