This is the first book by Anita Clenney I've read. I had high hopes for it. I read some good reviews about it, but I have to say I found the story boring, slow moving and a bit confusing in parts. I think the book was about 100 pages too loooooooooong. For me the character were not particularly interesting and lifeless. I thought Faelan was unheroic and dull and Bree wasn't much better. On a brighter note the book did get a little better about 3/4 of the way through when more characters were introduced. I found myself wanting to know more about them. So maybe I'll give the author another chance, maybe not.
