I loved this book as I was listening to it. EE comes across as a kind, warm, compassionate mother and wife who was dealt three of life's most tragic blows. It is especially touching that she reads the memoir aloud. After I finished listening, a friend told me that she had read an account of Elizabeth's behavior on the campaign trail by staff members. Their opinion of her was harsh...didn't sound at all like the woman who came across in this autobiography. Either way, it's a good read.
