Barely over 160 pages, this is the 'true' story of the former Princess of Wales, Diana (nee Spencer). After her death, it was revealed that Morton's primary source for this book was Diana herself.

There are two sides to every story -- and as fond as I am of Diana (for whatever reason), this is her story. Charles is painted in a poor light as I suppose would be expected if Diana's telling her story. While there's probably some truth in these stories, I don't think it's the full truth.

This short book is an easy read. I did get a chuckle at the appendix at the end of the book: "Could Charles & Diana divorce?" Some of the questions, especially those about Charles' remarriage, are rather amusing to read now since he married Camilla earlier this year.
