Shocking beginning. But I loved the leopard couple. Read about Elijah in earlier books and was happy he got his own story. Siena is a sweet beautiful shifter who was physically and emotionally damaged by one of her grandfather's leopard lieutenants. The book fits in well with the rest of Feehan's leopard shifter novels
